Foamy tan head on a mahogany coloured body.
Malt, syrup & toffee aroma.
Medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a sticky finish.
Chocolate, liquorice, Coca-Cola & treacle tastes with a sweet finish.
Nice enough.

Draught at ORB, Darlington. Gluten Free. Black colour, off white foam head and aroma of malt, roasty. Taste is sweetish, dark malt, toffee, liquorice, dried fruit, with chocolate, cola, and some bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying fruity roast bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep brown to black. Beige head. Nose - nice sweet toffee and bread with an edge of coffee and chocolate. Taste - toffee, chocolate and malt loaf. Palate - medium bodied, sweet and creamy with a very gentle hint of roast on the finish. Overall - very nice. A bit richer than I expect from the style.
