440ml can. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, resin. Taste of grapefruit, orange, pine, resin, biscuity malt, assertive bitterness. Medium bodied. Solid WCIPA and decent bitterness for a lower ABV one.

Draught Good off-white head over pale golden beer, fine pearling. C-hops, asafoetida, aromatic, citrus. Citrus returning, citruspeel, bitter grapefruitflavour gradually increasing. Very nice finish with mild bitterness from exotic fruit/citrus; well balanced too as it sports more maltimpression as well. Fine spritzy carbonation, bit slick. Medium bodied at best. Interesting, Caledonian take on a West Coast IPA - I suppose they didn't mean the Hebrides?

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden and clear, it really is a West Coast IPA. Nose - orange and caramel. Taste - light pine, candied orange and caramel again. Palate - medium bodied, creamy and lightly sweet middle. Dry-ish finish. Overall - decent example of the style.
