330ml bottle from Farm Brewery Tap - Deep oil brown body, no head. Rich buttery date and plum loaf, chocolate notes, sugary rum hit. Very smooth oily mouthfeel, decent figgy savoury touch at the end.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear brown beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Palate is smooth, fairly light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation emerging late on. The mouthfeel of the dark malts is thin but the flavour imparted is of a decent if unsweet dark chocolate, a mild boxy roast and a touch of thin dark malt cream. Decent ripe fruits in the mid and then the light but smooth and pleasing rum barrel kicks in, gets richer towards the light, semi dry and spicy finish. Nice job. A little thin on the mouthfeel for me but, perversely, I think aided the drinkability of this one.

Bottle at home, from an online peddler whom I can't recall, 01/02/2025.
Black topped with a dirty tan cap.
Nose is dark malts, charr, roast, rummy tones, toffee, dark fruit rinds, light spice, cocoa sprinkle, liquorice
Taste comprises dark malts, umami, chocolate shavings, roasted bite, mellow rum barrel, dates, raisins.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light rising booze trail.
Tidy enough BA impy, old skool like and not loaded with juncts.
