Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2015 [ The 40th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 8th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Flipside Farthing Mild ].Clear medium to dark brown - red amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, light earthy - sweet earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, woody, earthy, sweet malt, pale malt, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151008] 6-3-6-3-12

Cask at Birmingham Beer Festival 2016; clear brown pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has stewed fruit, taste has fruits, hint of dark malts.

Gravity cask at Nottingham festival day two with fonefan, Charlotte & chriso. Clear deep amber color. Aroma of burnt toast. Taste has burnt caramel.

Cask @ White Swan, Hebden Bridge. Dark copper-red, but clear with a small off-white creamy head. Has a good aroma that’s full of chocolate, but more of mild taste as you might expect!

Cask (Ropewalk, Nottingham) - Copper red in colour. Dried fruit, cocoa and some earthy notes in the aroma. Nutty taste with earthy hops, chestnuts and toffee.
