Draft at Charlotte Beer Garden. Yellow pour small head. Nose is grapefruit and scallion. Tatses of pineapple, grapefruit honey dew, green onion, mulch. Light bodied. Boring

Got this from total wine in NC. From a can that says 'modern IPA' on it, must be another one of those thousand IPA styles. Pour is yellow with a big foamy head that fades quite quickly. First taste is typical terribly on style rude ass bitter IPA. What else would I expect? Something that tastes good? Oh no way. How could there be so many styles of IPA when they all practically taste the same? I guess my beer tasting taste buds never matured enough to appreciate a beer that tastes like aged brown pine tar sap mixed with unscented hand soap all layered upon a brand new fresh real rubber inner tube and then sent to the food processor to mix it with rotten green grapefruit rinds. There, you have it. Blah.

Green onion and some peel. Not a lot of flavour. Pours hazy orange with good head. Hop tang finish. Can.

Hoppy, little malty. Good after a comfortable victory.

4 week old can A: Poured a very clear pale bubbly gold with a tall frothy head, long retention and elaborate lace. S: Lots of tart tangerine and grapefruit citrus along with some funky tropical notes. T: Brash grapefruit pith bitterness joined by some warming alcohol and wood. A touch of melon in the aftertaste. M: Medium Light and crisp with stiff carbonation and a wet but not sticky finish. O: Good, well balanced if a bit boozy flavors but it smells better than it tastes.
