Keg at the brewery tap. Aroma has low key black coffee. Opaque Cola brown. Thin foamy tan head. Medium-heavy bitter. Black coffee and charcoal. Dry flava. Spice. Medium bodied. Creamy. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Punchy.

Tap at Brewdog Dalston. Opaque colour, small beige head. Toasted, chocolaty aroma. Light-bodied. Toasted, dryish, light licorice, coffee and earthy hops. Okish.

Clear dark brown beer, no head. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay and cow fodder, soft roast, little spicy, coffee, decent! MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sourish start, some red currants, roasted, some coffee, bit watery, some cherries. Aftertaste: bit hoppy, very acidic notes, bit spicy, soft roast, quite some coffee, nice one!

Cask (gravity) @ 32th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2015, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As 40ft Deep ].Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, sweet malt, butter, butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, butterscotch, roasted - chocolate, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Dunkler, sehr malzig trockener Antrunk. Leichte Noten von Lakritz, milde Bitterkeit. Die Herbe ist dagegen etwas stärker, schokoladige Tendenzen. Trocken malziger, lang anhaltender Nachhall, die Schokoladigkeit verstärkt sich. 10/10/11/9/10/10

Festival der Bierkulturen 2016, Köln. Round and malty, not too deep, sessionable. Fresh, lots of malt and coffee. Easy to drink, fresh and interesting, but not too deep.

Festival der Bierkulturen. Dunkel orange braunes Bier mit geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch trocken röstmalzig, Schokolade, Kaffee. Geschmack röstmalzig bitter, Vanille, Schokolade, etwa bourbon, lecker alkoholisch.
