From a 2$ bottle at weiss, good find. In my lionhead glass its lightly darker than pale yellow, almost brown tinted light orange. Nice crisp metallic aroma. Taste is somewhat uncouth bitter up front. Good kick, decent carbonation. Taste is a little off kilter for a good okto fest but is somewhat typical of domestic varieties. Yes, could use a few manners from the old country. Not enough here to make an oompah band go. But hey, in the states its now all about instant gratification and at +6%, you almost have it. Maybe I should drink 2? Yea baby.

Variety pack: pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel and bread. Taste is sweet with caramel and biscuit. Simple, but has a nice earthiness or something in there.

12 oz bottle from the variety pack. Decent Oktoberfest style beer overall, but just kinda comes off as a bit dull overall. A bit of caramel / bready malt sweetness, some mild hop notes, and not a lot else. This beer is fine, and at the same time, it is pretty much completely forgettable.
Too malty, though not terrible. Stamford Bridge.

Bottle at Christine and Daves, thanks once more to DLJ for sourcing me another winner brewery, 29/11/13. Lightly hazed chestnut brown with a moderate off white covering. Nose is bready malts, toffee, light banana, spice, straw. Taste comprises toffee, biscuit malt, brown bread, cake mix, brown sugars, faint banoffee pie notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finale with sweet notes. Solid enough marzen,
