Very clear golden and partly orange coloured body with a relatively thin, one centimetre tall off-white head that barely covers the mostly clear body. Aroma of fake sugars, light lemons and orange peel with a slight note of stone fruits and a touch of plums, oddly and a tiny bit of alpha acids and bitterness, here, too. Light-bodied; Strong candy-like sweetness noticeable at first without any malt or richness in the body with a slight dose of flowers and bready notes from the dough, near the end with a light bit of lemons and citrus fruits, too and an enjoyable soft sweetness. Aftertaste is relatively straight-forward with some citrus fruits, light dough and yeastiness in place of big malts and a kick of sweetness at the end, partially from caster sugars, but also from some aspartame, and funky fake sugar notes. Overall, a decent enough Light IPA with enough complexity and citrus notes to make this worthwhile to drink, but not enough here to buy an entire six pack (or larger!) for you to be satisfied with. Nice to sample one from upstate New York! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Wegman's in Sterling, Virginia on 09-December-2021 for US$1,99 as part of a mixed six pack, with a 'best by' date of 08-June-2021 (past that date when I bought it!) and sampled at my house here in Washington on 22-December-2021.

Grapefruit and malt. Golden pour with ok head. Bitter finish with light hop tang. OK but not a ton of flavour here. Can.

New can at JR's. What will this be? Just another of a gahzillion poorly made domestic IPA out there? Just askin. Well, any who, its a plain clothes can. Pop the lid? Permeating slight skunk hop perfume nose. Fairly clear pour with a big fat foamy head. First taste at slightly cool is typical session said veggie cabbage as usual for these session IPA - But I would think the higher alky would smooth that out a bit, it is 5% after all. Bitter hops fer sure in the middle. A little chalky. Half way it starts to get this attitude of a floor cleaner. Finishes the same, makes it hard to take, lots of bitter attitude without the relief of any mind numbing alky effects; what - ever. Mouth coating from start to finish.
