12 oz. bottle from Tops in Lewiston, NY. Pours a hazy orange-gold color with a cream colored head and good retention. Spotty lacing. Smoked pumpkin spice aroma. As expected, flavors of pumpkin spices mixed with light coffee in the finish. The blend reduces both flavors down into a muted mix that doesn't really work for me. The 6.5% ABV is invisible. Medium body. Not bitter. Low carbonation.

$2 bottle from chalet premier in N Lima. Slightly darker yellow orange clear beer. Has a weird veggie pepper aroma, and perhaps there is a hint of pumpkin on the nose, only if you look for it. Taste is initially stronger and medicinal, hard to find the coffee in this one. In the middle it starts to smooth out with a tad of creaminess on the palate. Get more volatile on the nose and the tongue as the session continues. This beer comes across a little messy, not sure what to think of it. Weird brew tasting experience. Why do we have pumpkin beers coming out so early! These pumpkin brews are almost always quite difficult and so is this. On the finish, more of the pumpkin comes thru but I'm telling you, I can't really feel the coffee in this unless I stretch it a little. In the end, I simply would not do another but if yer a pumpkin beer lover, this is right up your style, put it on yer bucket list.
