Crisp apple flavor with a zesty spin. Infusions of lemongrass & ginger add extra sparkle to this refreshingly effervescent Hard Cider. Stir it up.

12 ounce can from Festival Manitowoc, 8/14/21. Hazy amber, thin fizzy white head, poor retention. Aroma of sweet apple, lemongrass. Taste is mealy apple, citrus. Some vague umami, but the lemongrass and ginger are way too tame. Okay.

Can sent by Rhinegeist for my comment. Your basic apple cider nose. Pours a golden cider color with a head that looks thick, but fizzes away before I can take its picture here. Slight ginger nose once i get my snoot over the glass. The taste starts with an apple juice sweetness, but after a few seconds, there's the burn of fresh ginger. A little hard to pick up lemongrass when there's ginger on the tongue, especially when it picks up the impression of a ginger beer. It's a zesty cider with a nice balance of spices. That's not easy to pull off, and I have a lot of Christmas cider under my belt to prove it. Would like to see this come around for the holidays.

This mostly clear, light yellow cider has an aroma of ginger and apples. The flavor is lightly sweet with ginger, apples, and lemon. Quite good.

Sea green can. You know, when I first came to RB back in 2006, I really liked ciders, even better than beer. My how things have changed, I actually find the thought of another cider nearly repulsive. So many of the domestic varieties are unlike the real ciders of the old countries. Smell is mild sterile apple. Clear lighter pale yellah. Palate has almost decent carbonation, was expecting more for a cider. Rather mild and a tad processed. Ginger and lemongrass is well balanced and barely perceivable, nice. Maybe even a little watery which actually makes it quite acceptable & refreshing. Was expecting some kind of sugary sweet fru-fru-fruity apple taste bomb, but it actually is not. A little better than expected. Not a whole lottah unfermented sugar sweetness, and I like that.
