Lubrow takes you on a journey to the British Islands, where we will immerse ourselves in the world of outstanding dark beer styles. This time, we're opting for an oatmeal stout because we love the combination of roasted character with a silky texture. That's exactly what Silky is!
Ingredients: water, barley malt, oat flakes, rye malt, oat malt, hops varieties: pałacowy, Iunga, yeast.
Not pasteurized and unfiltered beer.

W aromacie kawa, czekolada deserowa.
W smaku półwytrawne, lekko kwaskowe, pewna paloność, sporo akcentów kawowych, czekolady deserowej.
Goryczka do średniej, wysycenie średnie, ciało dość lekkie.
Brakuje nieco pełni i gładkości, typowej dla oatmeal stoutów. Poza tym całkiem niezłe piwo.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 16B). Can 50 cl - Batch 16-07-2025 (BB: 16-07-2025) AROMA: medium-low coffee-and-cream aroma with low background nutiness. faint pine hops. APPEARANCE: very dark amber to dark ruby color and clear. Medium-low beige head medium low retention. TASTE: initial medium-low malty notes with coffee character, followed by medium-high roasted to burnt notes. faint background nutiness. medium to medium-high bitterness from hops and roasted malts. finishes semi-dry with a roasted and burnt finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with slight velvety texture. medium-low carbonation. slight astringency from roasted malt. OVERALL: an oatmeal stout with excessive roasted character.

Bez azotu a fajny efekt lawinowy w szkle. Niestety na tym się kończą plusy. W aromacie zaskakująco alkoholowe + palony jęczmień. Pierwsze odczucie po wzięciu łyka to duże podobieństwo do Guinessa. Ale zaraz potem przychodzi pierdolnięcie łodygowej goryczki niwelujące jakiekolwiek miłe doznania...

Piana niezbyt apetyczna, barwa trochę za jasna. W aromacie kawa, czekolada deserowa, toffi, karmel. Słodki, deserowy aromat, ale przyjemny. W smaku bardziej do głosu dochodzi paloność, kawa, popiół, dopiero w tle klimaty czekoladowe. Goryczka palona, przyjemna. Gładkie, aksamitne. Niskie wysycenie. Bardzo fajny stout.
