Keg at Craft Beer Co, Brighton. Black pour with a beige head. Aromas of coffee? Liquorice, black pepper. Flavours of dark chocolate, lots of coffee, smoke, whisper of pepper. Tasty.

500ml bottle. Clear, darkest brown colour with ruby glimmer and average to huge, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, ochre-ish, beige head. Roasty dark malty, slightly fruity and spicy aroma, nots of dark chocolate, a touch of rose hip, hibiscus, pink pepper. Taste is roasty and slightly chocolately dark malty, minimalyl soapy spicy, minimally fruity, slightly diluted notes of dark chocolate, hints of cocoa, a touch of pink pepper, rose hip and hibiscus; slightly watery passages.

Appearance is nearly black, a small beige foamy head. Aroma- chocolate malt, coffee, treacle, toasty dark malt. Taste- milk chocolate, coffee, bready malt, toffee, hints of dark fruit, peppery malty finish. Some sweet fudge as well.

Black beer, beige head. Light malty, peppery aroma. Malty, bitter chocolate aroma. Taste is dark chocolate, coffee toasty malt and a bit of a peppery hit but it mellows out quite quickly and is balances really well.

On tap at the Made Inn Ashford. Black beer lasting tan head. Dark chocolate some smoothness. Some flavoured peppercorn not too extreme. Some dryness is good. It's fine. Actually pretty decent. Some umami. Liked it.

[ As Wiper and True Porter Pink Peppercorns ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, spicy, pepper. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, spicy, peppery, dry.
