An aromatic pale ale, percolated with lemon zest and Mosaic hops, Castro Mosaic has a fruity sweetness which transitions into a satisfying piney bitter aftertaste. The result is clean tasting refreshment – and with a very enjoyable low ABV, it’s the perfect session beer. lechyd da!

Cask at the Nags Head, Reading, stated ABV 3.3% Pale amber with a loose white head; delicate fruity aroma - peach & strawberry; sweet stoney fruity taste with some Indian tea in the background adding dryness and giving a metallic finish. Pleasant and full of flavour.

330ml Bottle - Hazy amber in colour. Rubber and notes of strawberries in the aroma. The taste is also rubbery and has notes of lemon and hops behind that, but they are not enough to save this one. A real disappointment and I am hoping something went wrong with this one as this brewery is normally very good.

Bottled, from ICA Maxi, Alby (3.5%). Cloudy deep golden. Rubbery nose with some tangerine peels. Dryish with light body and clean mouthfeel. Rubbery and phenolic. Some tangerine, but it drowns in rubber and plastic. Inky bitter finish. Undrinkable chemical mess.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 7/4/2016. Clear gold in colour, with a decent, white, head. Light, floral, hops, slightly creamy malts, a touch of citrus fruit and dryish finish. A good, low ABV, beer.

Cask handpull at The Grapes Liverpool. Clear gold lasting white head. It’s very light as you would expect almost a peanut lemon flavour. Decent condition bit warm. Nutty golden ale. Sone dryness on the finish. Odd pale gold beer.
