Using amber along with quality pale malt we create a biscuity backdrop for this all British hopped IPA.

For bittering we use the classic East Kent Goldings but the star of the show is the new age Minstrel hop which provides a lovely citrus berry twang, this is complimented with two other new British hops, Olicana and Jester.

Third of a cask pint at the Scottish Real Ale Festival in Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange on 7th July 2017. Amber pour, off-white topping. Aroma was a mix of citrusy notes and a light maltiness. Taste similar with a grapefruit front before the malts kicked in. Decent, refreshing after a few darker brews that I’d attacked earlier in the day.

Clear amber beer, white head. Smells of bitter citrus. Tastes of tangy grapefruit, a bit of grassy flavour, bitter hope. Has a resinous, piney hint to it as well especially along with sour fruit in the aftertaste. Decent and would be perfect as a session beer at the strength.
