Draft. A- Malt, faint floral. A- Dark gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Malty, faint pine, slightly bready, mildly peppery. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Of course Gene has to enter a beer on RB after going so long without just to get the first rate on only my second Sahti! Flavors are very mild and they played it way too safe here. Lots of potential but it needs to take some risk and really bring out the spruce and juniper much much more.

Draft at the source. Clearish gold color thin white head. Subtle malt aroma, maybe a whiff of forest. Taste is very subtle light pine and juniper berries. Very subtle and understated, maybe too subtle.
