Blend of bourbon barrel-aged stouts conditioned on Mizunara.
This blend is a spirited synthesis of three imperial stout recipes aged in Willett Family Reserve, Kentucky Owl, and Subtle Spirits bourbon barrels. Double-toasted Mizunara chips (Japanese oak) create extra layers of texture, character, and dimension to this annual blend. Mizunara Rings Of Splendor exhibits tones of dark milk chocolate, vanilla, and toasted coconut on the palate. The addition of the exotic wood lends soft jabs of cinnamon, nutmeg, and bright caramel.

Duke (barrel #377) aged 16 months in Kentucky Owl barrels
Carter (barrel #467) aged 10 months in Subtle Spirits #22 Bourbon barrels

Beautiful, thanks Alex ! Needed to warm up a bit, but rich barrel notes, soft whiskey notes, lots of raisin and date. Dangerous start to a share. 16.9% is totally hidden. Mouthcoating
