A World Cup Of Beers#11. POLAND. An international brew with the football and this is a mildly hazy wit, which is a mild example of the style. It's not bad though, although will never excite. Herbal, yeast, hint of banana, some spice, ever so dry... but I found the picture of the brewery building on the label a little more interesting. Drank whilst watching the hosts demolish the last hosts - Canada vs Qatar.

0.50l bottle. Aroma of wheat, grass, citrus and yeast. Pours cloudy dark straw color with large creamy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and grainy, following is grassy, floral and dusty, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. 500ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, dense, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally bready, wheaty malty, slightly spicy and minimally yeasty fruity aroma, hints of white bread crust, a touch of coriander, orange peel, whiffs of banana. Taste is minimally bready, wheaty malty, minimally bitter, zesty, citrusy fruity, mildly spicy and minimally yeasty fruity, hints of white bread crust, orange peel, a touch of coriander and banana. Minimally oily, watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Fairly refreshing, relatively bready malty, a bit cautious overall - OK.

Barwa żółta, zmętnione, piana biała, średnio obfita, średnio trwała. W aromacie goździk, fenole. W smaku lekko kwaskowe, goździk, fenole, lekki cytrus. Wysycenie w normie, ciało lekkie. Poprawne, ale niczego nie urywa.
