Refreshing Golden Pale Ale with a moderate bitterness, rich in colour, balanced, full of flavour with a craft lager taste. Ferry Fair is inspired by the annual August week-long Queensferry Fair which is a historic celebration mentioned since the 12th Century during the reign of King David I. Celebrations included a market and fair.

Cask at the Brewery tap. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas of light lemon and malt. Taste is faint bitter, more lemon notes. Dry finish.

8th July 2017: cask half-pint in the Caley Sample Room, Edinburgh. Clear golden body, wispy white head. Light floral and fruity nose, mild citrus notes in the taste, slight malty undertones. Subtle beer, but not bland.

Cask at the brewery tap. Clear golden body with a lasting white head. Good lacing. Aroma of grain and biscuit. Flavour of lemon and tangy hops. Thin to medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Sharp and hoppy. Pretty good.

On cask at Au Bar. Appearance - golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - light oranges and oatcakes. Taste - more orange it a solid oatcake base. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a solid citizen. A golden ale with more texture.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Ferry Ferry Fair ].Light unclear medium orange yellow color with a small, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, cookie, pale malt, biscuit malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, pale malt, fruity malt, biscuit malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161012] 6-2-6-3-13

Cask at the SRAF 2016... Hazy Amber... Soft sweet floral fruit nose.. Soft sweet oily toffee fruit.. Sweet fruit..
