Brick Field Brown is our homage to the English brown ale. This is a well balanced and full bodied beer, brewed with all-British barley and Golden Naked Oats, and partnered with Willamette hops from the USA. Earthy demerara sugar, smooth caramel and hazelnuts fill the palette.

Cask at Cloisters. Dark brown body with a thin beige head that fades. Aroma of wood and brown sugar. Flavour follows the aroma - wood and caramelised sugar. Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. A straightforward, nicely flavoured beer.

Cask at The Metropolitan (Wetherspoons) Baker Street, London. A mahogany brown coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Malty, caramel aroma. Tastes malty, nutty, caramel, some dark fruit. Very enjoyable and in great condition at a Wetherspoons outlet.

Creamy tan head stayed on a slowly carbonating dark brown body. Bitter berry, dark chocolate, brown sugar & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy over the tongue with a well carbonated clean finish. Nutty tastes with dark berry, demerara, caramel & tangy, slightly hoppy finish.

(Cask at Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2019) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and toasted nuts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, nuts, sweetness, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste was toasty and bitter. A pleasant toasty brew.
