Brick Field Brown is our homage to the English brown ale. This is a well balanced and full bodied beer, brewed with all-British barley and Golden Naked Oats, and partnered with Willamette hops from the USA. Earthy demerara sugar, smooth caramel and hazelnuts fill the palette.

Cask at the Kings Arms, 14/11/16. Dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is biscuit, toffee, cocoa powder, brown sugars. Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, light spice, toffee, grains, brown bread, faint coffee vibes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent flavoursome brown ... solid beer for the style.

Keg at the London Brewers Market. Pours unclear brown with a creamy, khaki head. Nice toasted cracked aroma, with nips of dry toffee, brown bread, well toasted grains. Medium sweet flavour with mellow earthy bitterness, toasted biscuits, more toffee, cracker. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bucket balanced on the finish, with further semi-dark malts, toast, bready malts, toffee, low earthy bitterness. Well rounded and really drinkable.

Keg at the Euston tap. A hazed reddy copper brown coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is composed of layered brown malts, nutty toffee earthy malts with a hint of smoke and backing c hop character. Flavour is composed of earthy toffee, brown sugar, rye bread malts, chalky and some toasted pine needle hop. Nice lingering earthy toasted brown bread. Palate is semi sweet, medium bodied, highish carbonation and a semi dry chalky finish.
