A nod to tradition this is a premium Northern English bitter with a smooth and wonderfully balanced malty base, a rich flavour and dark colouring. The beer derives it’s name from the use of ‘new world’ hops combined with an English style bitter.

Cask @ Beer Engine, Skipton. Dark copper-red with a creamy head. Has a grainy malt in both aroma and taste, with an easy drinking crispness making it light tasting in this respect, but feels fairly thin. There may be a hint of chocolate in here too.

Cask-conditioned at the Harlequin, Sheffield, 2/12/2014. Deep copper in colour, with a slight, white, head. Sweetish malts, a touch of berry fruit, and a decent, bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Nice solid russet body. thick lacing white head. Big malty, nutty caramel nose, sweet robust taste. Chewy body, a bit of toffee on the finish. Pleasant and one for a decent session.
