Can from Hoptimism. Appearance - deep brown to black and opaque. Tan head. Nose - eggs up front. Maple for sure. Taste - honeycomb, pancakes and syrup. Palate - medium bodied, chewy finish. Overall - apart from the nose, ut was good.

440ml can. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is maple syrup, cola and raisin. Taste has raisin and maple syrup to start. Flat cola and watery maple syrup in the finish.

ABV: 6.6%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, pecan nuts, maple - maple syrup. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, maple, dark malt, chocolate - roasted, pecan nuts. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20200126]

Keg @ Beatnikz Republic Bar, Manchester. Extremely dark with its ingredients producing a milkshake style to the ale. There's a sweetness a notch above its roasted malts in terms of dominance and there's plenty of aroma in this brew.
