Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Blurb calls this a stout, and is now 7.5%, so obviously a re-brew. Pours a clear, chestnut brown. Fine light tan head is lasting and semi lacing. Nose has peanut brittle. Earthy malt. Salted caramel truffle. Definitely does what it says on the bottle. Taste is super sweet, with an earthy, cocoa powder bitterness. Smooth on the palate, with fine carbonation. Lingering cocoa bitterness to finish. Nice beer, despite the earthy notes being a little prominent.
