Black with lacy head. Aroma and flavour have dark malts with a light roastiness. Some grassy notes and piney hop too.

Roast and hoppy, very good. Untappd thinks I'm in Herefordshire, so no venue checking for now

Can from the Black Toad. Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Beige head. Nose - rich chocolate, light roast, pine and lime. Taste - chocolate limes all the way. Palate - creamy texture, medium bodied, roasty finish. Overall - liked this. And it's totally on styles, which is a narrow sweet spot.

Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Black with a creamy off-white head. It's tropical fruity in both aroma and taste, with a hint of spice in its aftertaste. It has an easy enough texture for its strength.
