Pours a clear dark brown with a reddish tone, moderate off-white head. Aroma of malt, syrup, and rye. Sweet malty mouthfeel with moderate fruitiness and low bitterness. Notes of caramel, rye bread, and a sweet finish.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, liquorice, and malt, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, orangey brown with a small, lacing, beige head. Very discreet nose, a hint of soy perhaps. Rich, sweet, malty body, sweet licorice, a little cardboard and again a hint of soy. Not the most flavorsome of it's style, but at least drinkable. 150121

Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, bread, sour bread, caramel, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, brown sugar, bread, caramel, sour bread notes.
