Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy ruby/amber body with a thin beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of fig, wood, stewed plum and caramel. Flavour of mushy apple, toffee and prunes with a solvent finish. Thin to medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Quite full on, but a rather confused beer.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - deep amber with a red tinge. Nice head. Nose - oatmeal and spice. Taste - more spice maybe some oranges. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet gnarly middle section and a dry crunchy finish. Overall - a bit gnarly.
