Bottle thanks to Grumbo: Poured a dark black with a frothy thick tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, spicy, smoke, coffee. Taste is rich roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, spicy, biscuit. Finish is smoky.

20/6/2020. Bottle bought direct from the brewery. Pours very dark brown with a large frothy off-white head. Aroma of light roasted malt, rye, oats, chocolate, dark fruits, lactose, coffee and slight starchy notes. Moderate sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, smooth texture, a little fizzy. Gets a lot from it’s 3.6%. Enjoyed this.

Cask at pigs ear 2019. A reddy brown coloured pour with a a halo of beige head. Aroma is nutty, twiggy, toasted malts, brown leaves, coco. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, jammy raspberry, coco, strawberry. Coco. Palate is semi sweet, light lowish carbonation. Decent.

ABV: 3.6%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, dark chocolate, dark malt, light oat - rye. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, chocolate, coffee, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20191203]
