Cask (handpump) @ Roebuck Inn (JDW), 9-11 St. James’s Street, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6FH. [ As Oldershaw Grantham Porter ].Clear dark red brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, dates. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, roasted, dates. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161012] 7-4-7-3-14

Tried at the Threekingham beer festival. Deep ruby black colour with a white head. The aroma is chocolate and fruity the taste mid bitter.

Cask @ Shepherds Rest, Sowerby Bridge. Dark ruby red with a thick creamy off-white head. Has a milky roasted malt aroma and taste with hints of chocolate, all of which is crisp in the palate.
