330ml bottle from Oddbins, Queensferry street. Pours hazy pale yellow gold, enormous white head, very fizzy. Aromas of grains, dough, faint lemon, white pepper, something a bit harsh and cleaning-product-esque. Taste is similar. Prickly carbonation. Light spice linger.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Oddbins London Bridge. Pours clear yellow, effervescent, with a frothy white head that quickly settles into a cream while leaving tasteful lacing. The aroma is super clean, with suggestions of lemon peel, crispy hay, perhaps some papaya. Lightly sweet with subtle dry, pale bread sugars, mellow bitter straw and grass, hints of grapefruit, lemon zest, a bit of pith, salt. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation and massaging texture. Finishes very cleanly, with nips of melon, light saison yeast, lemon pith, straw. Excellent beer overall. Supremely drinkable.
