Bottle from Dicey Reilly’s, Ballyshannon [090414] BBE [300314]
Reddish amber, good colour, clear, big frothy off white head
Aroma - Red berry fruits, fruity caramel malts, soft fruity hops, good gentle aroma, hint of strawberry
Taste as aroma, slightly earthy, some toasted malts, gentle flavours
Palate - Soft carb, light to medium body, smooth texture. Soft sweet, soft bitter, well balanced palate. Finish as main flavour, soft light sweet red berry fruits
Overall - Better than a lot of Irish Reds - would like to try a fresher bottle
