Bottle sample at a tasting at Dror’s place. Thanks Tom L. Brown. Aroma of malt, caramel, toast, a roasty hint, a fruity note, and a bit of nuts. Sweetish flavor with some roast, a bit of nuts, a fruity note, caramel, and a drier finish. Medium-bodied, with an alcoholic note.

Cola like pour into the tulip glass, small tan head that dissipates quickly leaving a little lacing on the glass. Faint aroma, not near as much as I would have expected. Traditional porter notes of roasted barley, nutty taurine, some floral hops, hints of vanilla. Taste is equally mild, roasted nuts, toffee, some seaweed brininess, nice bitterness in the finish. Good carbonation level, present but not overwhelming. Overall a solid porter that isn’t going to knock your socks off but is a fine addition to a meal.
