Bottle thanks to Grumbo: Poured a burgundy brown with a huge pinkish head that dissipated fast. Aroma is berry, cherry, seedy, malts. Taste is dark black cherries, malty, yeasty, light sweet and tart action. Seeing how this bottle gushed to the point that only half the bottle was left I figured it would be an infected undrinkable, I was wrong.

330ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Hazy, dark crimson colour with huge, frothy, rapidly diminishing, settling, pink head. Yeasty spicy, slightly funky and fruity aroma, notes of cherry, morello, some herbal-spicy-leafy, peppery aspects, a touch of pepper, coriander seed, aniseed, vinegar, leather. Taste is tart, fruity, slightly funky, yeasty spicy, subtle fruity sweetness, notes of cherry, hints of morello, some pepper, coriander, orange peel. Minimally viscous, overall still watery texture, dry, minimally astringent and minimally cloying palate, medium, prickly to lively carbonation. Very nice cherry flavours, decided yeast action - pretty good!

10/11/2019. Bottle mail order from the brewery website. 7.5% abv. Opened with a big gush. Poured attractive deep dark cherry red with a pinkish red head. Aroma of dark cherries, Black Forest gateaux, chocolate, cherry liquor, touch of yeast. Quite subtle medium sweetness, light bitterness and slightest sour edge to finish. Medium body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation. Has a cherry chocolate finish. Nicely drinkable.
