0.33 l bottle huge thanks to Grumpy Bear, shared with PBF_pivica and him. Clear brown with an orange hue. Light spicy, malty, caramely and toffee nose. Sweet caramely flavour, some dried fruit. Sticky, not too sweet, quite drinkable. Light sweet finish. A bit thin.

Light florals and some sweet tobacco. Dried fig. Some attic dustiness and a little orange peel. Dark copper pour with decent head. Light tangy finish. Bottle from Canil.

Tap @ Cerveteca Lisboa. Hazy amber brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, candy sugar and yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 160718

Re-rating (previous 5.6). Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 26B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L1936 (BBF 11/20). AROMA: medium-high solventy character. mild toffee-like malt notes. odd faint wet wood note. APPEARANCE: dark copper color and cristal clear. average moussy ivory head with average retention. lace formation. TASTE: medium-high solventy notes, followed by low caramel, yeast and slight roasted bread malt notes. medium-low bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with moderate carbonation. hot alcohol warmth present. OVERALL: a belgian dubbel with fermentation issues.
