Cask @ The Ale House, Chelmsford. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are coffee, roast malt, caramel and hops. Sweet finish.

Cask @ Ale House, Chelmsford. Hazy dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and peaty. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and roasted moderate bitter finish. 150218

15th February 2018
Ale House, Chelmsford. Cask. Light haze on this deep amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts bring mild chocolate. Trace of tangy fruits. Loadsa nuts with bitterish peanut brittle bringing up the rear. Fruity nutty finish. Amusing.
