Handpull cask at the Landsdowne, Leicester. Very dark brown but not quite black, and with a hint of translucency. Big khaki head. Roast coffee, liquorice, blackberry on the aroma. Bitter burnt malt taste, following through to the finish. More forest fruit in the aftertaste. Very nice porter, and absolute bags of character for 3.9%.
