Cask handpump at Bacchus, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Wednesday 30th September 2014. This beer read (from the name & description) like a Donovan song, strangely it tastes like one to, if thats possible. Pours hazy straw to lemony edging towards gold with a white head. As strange as the name suggests, the grapefruit, fennel and juniper make for some unusual flavours hippyish I’d say, though to be fair they combine reasonably well. On the downside its a bit wishy washy and a tiny bit soapy. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2
