The best of the Old and New World IPAs.

With English Maris Otter and Munich base malts providing the rich complex base we get a classic ale with a distinctive malty/nutty/biscuity flavour. We use a traditional, yet unusual as it is inhouse propagated, English ale yeast to get enhance the malt flavours and give a slightly sweeter finish. The beer is quite bitter and for aroma we add Simcoe and Centenniel hops to get an intense floral and citrus flavour that completes that last little detail for our vision of a perfect IPA.

Grains: Maris Otter, Munich

Hops: Simcoe, Centenniel

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 29 Sep 2016) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and resin. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, orange peel, resin and a generous citric, resiny bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Solid, tasty and well balanced IPA. Nice one.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, deep golden with a roughish white head. Aroma is slightly peachy - pleasant if a little subtle. Medium body, very soft on the palate, very fruity - again peachy and tropical - with a dry but not overly bitter finish. Gets a little chalky late. But very easygoing and pleasant. 220816
