Brewed with dedication and patiently barrel-aged for an extended period, this imperial stout is a true labor of love. Selected bourbon barrels impart complexity, with notes of vanilla and oak blending seamlessly with a concentrated malt character and luscious mouthfeel. For the best drinking experience, we recommend a serving temperature of 12-14 degrees Celsius.

Sample from tap at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2025, blue session. Vintage 2024. A dark beer with rich, sweet flavour - caramel malts, vanilla, and dark malts. Very nice.

Bottle. It's close to black in the glass, oily, with a small head and a gentle carbonation. Roasted malts, licorice, brown sugar, alcohol and dark dried fruit. It's full bodied, sweet, warming and gently carbonated. Roasted malts, brown sugar, coffee hints, some alcohol and toffee. Some woody hints. Booze notes. Lasting finish. Delicious and nice indeed. 241228

Bottle, 375 ml, shared with MiroB, Luka, Bojan. Black with almost no head. Chocolate, barrel, light vanilla, bit charred, medium+ sweetness, touch of alcohol. Could be more smooth.

07.12.2024, 0,375l bottle @ home:
Nice light brown bubbly-creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is sweet boozy, dark malts, chocolate, bourbon, dark sugar, vanilla, oak, old rope, burnt toast. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish boozy, cough syrup, bourbon, oak, dark malts, chocolate, old rope, vanilla, dark sugar, toast, almonds. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Nice enough.
