Thick and black with a huge dark brown head that lingered and left good lacing. Strongly sweet and malty with chocolate, coconut, anise, faint roastiness, maple & vanilla. Exceptionally long finish. Marvelously thick and creamy.

Bottle. A- Maple, toasted coconut, cocoa. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Coconut, dark chocolate, maple, char, mild bitterness. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- This was loaded with flavor. Sweet but not too cloying. Lots of toasted coconut and a surprising amount of woodsy maple. This reminded me a lot of an Omnipollo stout. Good stuff.
