Del Boca Vista

Can. A- Coconut, straw, vanilla, cream. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Vanilla, cream, coconut, grains. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- What is it with Columbus based breweries and cream ales. I've had a million of them! Anyways, I had it in my mind that this was supposed to taste like a coconut cream pie. Add some graham cracker and it might be on it's way there. Not bad, but the aroma is a bit weak and it's really a vanilla cream ale until you get some lingering coconut on the end of the taste, although it does come out more as it gets warm.

Hazy yellow-gold color with a medium thin bright white head that dissipates quickly to a film. Spotty lace. Aroma of wheat, coconut and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of malt, vanilla, coconut and wheat. The finish is creamy with a wheat and coconut aftertaste. Decent overall.
