Black with a large foamy tan head. Sweet with coconut, coffee and cocoa and hints if anise and vanilla. Long finish. Full bodied

Can. A- Coconut, macaroons, cocoa. A- Black color, black liquid, fizzy khaki head. T- Toasted coconut, slightly sweet, chocolate, sugar cookies. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Wow. Picking this up I figured I was just buying another gimmicky pastry stout from a brewery I didn't know. I should've grabbed the other cans I saw from them because this turned out to be very tasty. Lots of toasted coconut and cookie flavor. Sweet but far from cloying. Really enjoyed this one. The carbonation might have been a touch too high, I did wish for a creamier body overall, but hard to find any complaints with this delicious treat. Worth the hype of the 4 of us that have rated it so far.

Sample during Cookie Monster Mike Ream's Birthday! on 08/08/2020. Brown-black pour with a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Roast malt, chocolate and coconut aroma. Medium to full body with flavors of chocolate malt, toasted coconut and cinnamon. The finish is roasty with a coconut and cinnamon aftertaste. Good beer all around.
