Inspired by American Pale Ale, Jester is our own unique take on this style. New, powerful home-grown hop varieties, Jester, and Endeavour deliver a bold hop character, and provide a hearty British backbone. American citrus notes are emulated by a crafty addition of Lemon Verbena, giving citrus flavour.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is sweaty pungency sock, vinegar solvent. Flavour is composed of tangy sour grains, sweaty, sock, raw bready, tangy. Completely fucked. Palate is tangy, raw grainy, spritzy carbonation terrible.

Bottle shared in London. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. Some white grape in the nose, damp pale grains. Medium sweet flavour, oddly sugary, but with harsh grassy bitterness, dried herbs, mild astringency. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with odd gingery suggestions, citrus peel, lasting abrasive grass, oily hops. Terrible.
