Red ales have become an adopted beer style of our home country at this point.

Nobody knows quite when it happened, or who did it first, but we’re on board with honouring our homeland and our Welsh brewing heritage. Constructing Crimson isn’t as obviously patriotic as Am Byth, but has that Celtic bloodline running through it with gusto; letting the malt do the talking rather than the hops, in a step away from our usual pale and hoppy stomping grounds.

A flourish of Crystal malt at the end of the mash gives this beer its characteristic and bold red colour, whilst an incredibly laid back (for us anyway) hop bill of Azacca and Amarillo imparts delicious sticky marmalade notes with slightly spicy citrus to compliment the biscuity sweetness of the malt. Robust, bold and uniquely delicious.
