On tap at O'Connell's Pub, Galway. Hazy amber, firm creamy off-white to tan head. Soft to moderate fruity aroma, dried fruit and toast with hints of peach. Lightly fruity flavour, dried fruit, and stone fruit, with cherry and peach dominating. Sweet caramely flavour balanced with toast, spice and some butter. Smooth, creamy, medium body, soft carbonation, dry finish.

Hand pumped at FOB, Rimini, Italy, as Nitro Red Ale. Pours dark amber, fairly transparent, with very fine whitish foam. Aroma is malty, caramel, toffee, but moderate. Body is average, with no carbonation. Taste is mild sweet. Final is fairly dry, a little too light maybe.

Nitro tap at Tønne, Leicester. Deep mahogany red, clear with a good-sized beige head. Herbal aroma, some berry, some grass. Sweet taste, a little bit of strawberry syrup, some caramel. Light body, medium carbonation. Not my favourite style but I say this one is better than many.

spina, bevuta dopo una bella cena a Rovato con i miei amici del militare il Conte, Bertoldi e Fattore. Il manzo all’olio era ottimo. Bella serata. @ Queen Pub Rovato 16.03.24 0
