It is said “You are only as old as the last time you changed your mind.” The liquid in this can will do just that. On the spectrum between genius and madness, this one slithered through a wormhole of lunacy. Using 100% New Zealand hops, we embraced the onslaught of flavors provided by Nelson, Riwaka and Wakatu, then added the experimental hop NZH-104 as a foray into the great unknown. This novel variety breathes the South Island terroir and takes on a mineral character similar to your favorite NZ Sauv Blanc, balancing the bright notes of passion fruit, papaya, gooseberry and mandarin orange. Pilsner malt lends the perfect canvas for these hops to shine, and provides the firm foundation they need to stand tall. The end result exudes aroma and flavor like a tropical fruit basket (no fruits were harmed during the brewing of this beer.)
