Inspired by a mind blowing dessert created by a Nordic eatery that popped up in the middle of the Mexican jungle. Pasilla mixe chiles, honey, cocoa nibs and tangerine peel. It’s wild. Oh yeah, baby.

12 oz. can, pour black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out tangerine peel upfront, with subdued chili peppers, and light roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with chili peppers, tangerine peel and light cocoa. Bitter, cocoa-y finish. Solid stuff.

Can sourced from Himmeriget drunk at home - pours black with a tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with dark chocolate and cakey malts, caramel, dark citrus fruity undertones, medium to full bodied, does have a chilli kick at the dark roasted finish but think I must be one of the lucky ones not to get the rumoured mixed in burning hot cans :)

12 ounce can. Opaque black color. Small creamy tan head. Mild roasted malt nose. Some cocoa notes. Bold roasted malt flavor. Notes of tangerine, cocoa and burnt sugar. Intensely bitter midtaste hints at dark chocolate. Some warming heat from the Pasilla chilies. Big alcohol prescence as well. Resiny hop finish.

20/I/18 - 12Fl. Oz. can from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ 1st Post-Sickness Tasting (home) - BB: n/a, can mentions: batch ETYI TJB3-PIG 14061 (2018-29) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the can!
Clear dark brown to purple brown beer, big irregular aery beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: chillies, very roasted, dried fruits, chocolate, mocha. MF: huge chilli burn, soft carbon, medium body. Taste: all chillies, nothing else. This is just ridiculous, I'm a huge chilli lover, I can eat crazy spicy food, I like chilli beers, but this is way over the top. Why would you want to make undrinkable beer, even for chilli lovers?

Can. A- Weak, cocoa, mild sweetness, subtle booze. A- Black color, black liquid, light brown head. T- Cocoa, slightly watery, roasty, subtle iron. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Something about a beer with Jackie O on the label. As hyped as they are, I've yet to have anything that was above average or not infected. This one was no different. Very boring in all honestly. Get no chili, no tangerine or citrus, no honey, and only very mild cocoa. Really a straightforward imperial stout. Others seem to have had this beer turn out very spicy. Must be a lack of consistency. I got the boring batch.
