Inspired by a mind blowing dessert created by a Nordic eatery that popped up in the middle of the Mexican jungle. Pasilla mixe chiles, honey, cocoa nibs and tangerine peel. It’s wild. Oh yeah, baby.

12 oz can. Pours black with full dark tan head of big bubbles. Aromas of roasted malts, dry dark chocolate, roasted peppers, and dark sugary fruit. Flavors follow same, Not sure if the heat is the chilies or the ABV; certainly not strong. Can't really get the tangerine of the honey, but these may come across as just a bit of fruity sharpness and sweetness. Still a very tasty and good roasty stout.

Opaque, very dark brown beer with a bubbly head that soon reduces to a film around the edge of the glass.Hefty malt aroma and you get a good whiff of the chilli too. Flavour manages to fit in all the stuff advertised on the description: honey, citrus zest, chocolate and a bit of chilli that adds some heat without overpowering anything else, and there's some bitter coffee in there too. Balanced nicely with no one thing coming to the forefront after a pretty strong flavour up front. Light and chocolate with a bit of dry heat from the chilli kicking about too. I'd have liked it if something (either the citrus or honey) had come to the forefront a little more but that's not a major gripe and this is a lovely beer.

Happy 2018! Can from Wine Warehouse. Pours thick and black with a large soft brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate, cocoa, toffee, coffee. Flavor is dark chocolate and immediate heat! Lots of spicy pepper. Light smoke, but everything is overtaken by the pepper. Perhaps too much? This isn't going to be good for my heartburn.

12 fl oz can. Pours black. Chocolate, orange, coffee, something a touch floral, some honey, vanilla. Not too big a body. Bit disappointing.

Can 35,5 cl. Pours an opaque, murky black with no head. Nose is chocolatey and boozy - no real traces of the chili yet. But as soon as you sip this beer.....you're under attack. Brutal amounts of scovilles attack every tastebud you have and make them numb immediately. This is all about flashing your balls and being macho - not about liking beer, because that poor thing is totally buried in the hotness. Rumours has it that these extra hot cans are mixed in with much more drinkable ones. I wish I had had one of the latter. This has zero drinkability and can at best be considered a gimmick, An unfunny one. 191217

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a large foamy brown head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was cocoa, vanilla, toasty malts and was a bit boozy. The flavor was bitter and boozy with notes of vodka, cocoa, hot pepper, a touch of smoke and vanilla. Very long finish with growing hot peppers. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Odd

Tasting at SF, Vancouver, can
Black color. Roasty and dry, the chilies add an earthy note, there are bitter orange traces, the alcohol feeling is too strong, and the final is even more earthy.
I'm not convinced.
