Bottle on the Looe Brush ... 47537 & 826 ... cheers to Nick I think, 03/02/19. Murky dark chestnut brown with a decent beige cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is stewed fruits, toffee, biscuit, spice, mellow roasted tones. Taste comprises tangy fruits, brown sugar, light honey, mellow roast, fruit slice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

Bottle from Buchanan’s Bistro. Dark brown body with a faint off-white film. No lacing. Aroma of brown sugar, stewed red fruits and candy. Flavour of raisin, peppery malt, sour cherry and caramel. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Drinks well for the strength. The best Quiet beer I’ve tried so far.

Bottle from Buchanan’s Bistro. It pours clear deep red-ruby with a small beige head. The nose is is soft, sweet, candy, jammy, berry, cherry drops, candy, earthy roast, light cocoa and light tang. The taste is bitter-sweet, high alcohol boost, earthy roast, jammy fruits, plenty of berry, toasty, candy cane, damp wood and alcohol boost with a dry, warming finish. Medium-full body and moderate carbonation. A bit rough around the edges, but OK.
