Hops: Hersbrucker
Malt: Light Crystal, Two Row
Older description: One of the two beers brewed specifically for our second anniversary is a collaboration between Breakside’s Sam Barber, Lompoc’s Irina Bierzynski, and 10 Barrel Brewing’s Mayme Berman, all alums of Lewis & Clark College. It is a sharply sour German wheat ale made from a 100% sour mash, infused with the tart and tropical flavors of passionfruit.

Bottle to pokal.
Appearance: glossy yellow/orange cardboard color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: passion fruit tart and sweet character, light lemony and acidic character
Flavor: tart and sour tones up front of the passion fruit and lemon, subtle sweetness underneath; finishes tart and sweet passion fruity
Texture: light bodied, somewhat sessionable but the sour pucker factor does try to beat my tongue into submission and it somewhat does
Overall: a sour ale not for the faint of heart. Be forewarned, despite the "low"-ish ABV, I recommend this beer be one of the last beers of a session due to the pucker factor, just my two cents.

Portland fest. Lots of fruit. Bit cloying.
