Bottle 640ml. @ Craig’s House - Edinburgh. [ As Batch (AUS) MacBatch ].Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, vegetables, light apple - cider - aceton. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, caramel, oak, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle at Craigs 2016 alldayer. Pours clear amber, no real head. Aromas of acetone, soap, toffee. Taste is fairy liquid, sweet toffee finish.

Hazy medium amber with a bubbly head. Massive oak aroma, with a toffeeish, almost smoke character with a very fresh grainy note. Rich and sweet toffee character. Those gentle brown sugars and mellow hit of warming alcohol segue into a dry tannic finish. Exceptional balance. Sticky, tannic. Damn fine beer.
